Heavy Metal Detox Program

One of the most important detox program is the heavy metal detox. We are exposed to various heavy metal contamination from our environment. Examples are the mercury toxicity from shellfish and fishes (these are also found in fish-made chicken feed); vegetables and fruits grown in lead-contaminated soil; lead dust produced from printers and smelters; tobacco smoke containing zinc, lead, and copper.

Over a period of time, these heavy metal will build up within our body organs and can affect our immune system especially the close link as cancer causing agents. So the introduction of heavy metal detoxification programs is important and has to be complete to ensure that the heavy metals are cleared from our body rather than being distributed to other parts. We would recommend that this program be done over a period of 30 days.

Firstly, we need to do an acid-alkaline balance cleansing because they are effective in neutralizing and clearing the heavy metals from our body. Many cruciferous vegetables are known to have these capabilities like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and kale. Good proteins have to consumed too so that they can carry away the heavy metals out of our body system. High protein vegetables are lentils, whole grains, raw nuts, and seeds. We do not mix juice fasting or any other fasting programs with heavy metal detox. The reason is fasting can cause certain protective protein layers to break down and expose the metal within our body that can lead to damage.

Drink at least 2 glasses of carrot juice daily. This juice can be added with celery, cucumber, sprouts, spinach, or beet leaves. Try to eat cilantro, onion and garlic together with your meal. These two vegetables/spice are well-known for their removal of heavy metal toxicity.

As with all detox programs, consume at least 8 to 10 eight-ounce glass of water everyday. Make sure that purified water or alkalinizing water is drank rather than tap water which contains metal as well.

Make your colon cleansing fiber shakes and drink at least twice a day. This shake is made by adding 1 teaspoon of pysillium and 1 tablespoon of bentonite into 8-ounce of water together with 2 teaspoons of orgranic black cherry juice concentrate. With all these ingredients poured into a container with lid then shake it well. Ensure you drink the fiber shake immediately.

Avoid all enzymes during the process of heavy metal detox. They can interfere with the protein necessary to clear the heavy metals. All the nutritional supplements, however, can still be consumed. Some necessary supplements for this program is calcium and magnesium (they are known to protect tissues from heavy metal), vitamin c, gluthathione (assist in our liver to detoxify the heavy metals), multi-vitamins, L-Methionine 500mg twice a day, L-Cysteine 500mg twice a day, and zinc at 50mg twice daily.
