Detox Diet Salad Recipes
for Cleansing Program

We are introducing some great detox diet salad recipes for you to easily complete your detox and cleansing program.

Jicama Salad
Serving of 4

  • 1 jicama that is grated
  • 1 carrot, also grated
  • 1/2 cup of fresh basil leaves
  • 1/8 to 1/4 of jalapeno pepper, also grated
  • 1/4 cup of chopped mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lime juice
Put all ingredients together in a large bowl and toss them to mix it together. Then serve it immediately.

Asian Cucumber Salad
Serving of 1

  • 1 cucumber that is peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup of rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup
  • Pinch of five-spice powder and cayenne pepper
Put all ingredients in to a bowl and mix it together. Let it stand for 15 minutes before serving.

Smoked Salmon Salad
Serving of 2. Smoke salmon is reach in omega-3 fatty acids which is an essential source of healthy oil required by our body. This is a good option for your detox diet salad recipe.

  • 4 cups of raw salad greens
  • 2 cups of cooked quinoa, rice or millet
  • 1/2 pound of smoked salmon
  • Ginger garlic dressing or creamy garlic sauce
Put the greens into a bowl and add the cooked grains. Place the salmon on the top of the greens then add on the sauces.

White Bean Salad
Serving of 4

  • One 12 ounce can of white beans that is drained of water
  • 1 cup of chopped Italian parsley
  • 2 tomatoes that is chopped
  • 1/2 a piece of red onion that is minced
  • 1/2 a piece of lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and serve.

Broccoli with Maple Glaze
Serving of 4

  • 2 cups of chopped broccoli
  • 1 medium piece of red onion that is thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar or balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
    1. Set medium heat over a skillet
    2. pour 1 inch of water and steam the broccoli and onion inside for about 10 minutes until they are tender
    3. Mix the vinegar, mustard, and maple syrup inside a small bowl
    4. Pour the mixture onto the vegetables and stir them thoroughly for the mixture to coat onto the vegetables evenly

    Basic Quinoa
    Serving of 4. Quinoa is rich in protein and also a healthy source of energy that is even better than higher carbohydrate grains. A must-have in your detox diet salad recipes.

    • 2 cups of water, juice, or vegetable broth
    • 1 cup of quinoa
    • Salt
    1. Add the water and quinoa into a 2-quart saucepan. Bring it to boil
    2. Reduce heat to bring it to simmer. Cover the saucepan and cook until all water/liquid is absorbed. About 15 to 20 minutes
    3. Make sure the grain looks translucent and the germ ring still visible
    4. Alternatively, you can bake toast your quinoa over a hot and dry skillet using medium heat. Stir it until golden brown
    5. Try not to over-toast the grain in order to retain its nutritional values
