Based on the list stated, any yeasted fermented food are definite types of food not to eat, therefore soy sauce is included within the list.

Foods to consume:

  • Poultry
  • Meat
  • Vegetables (eat lots of them)

For vegetarians, please note that yeast thrive in alkaline environment which vegetarian diet are made up of most. Therefore, it might be necessary to seek certain supplements to inhibit yeast growth.

The most basic diet should be based on protein and vegetables. Some small portions of starch and carbohydrate are acceptable like one or two portions daily. Examples of starches and carbohydrates are the pastas, brown rice, millet, and oatmeal. Remember to limit the consumption of these types of food.

Interestingly, candida detox diet need not be eaten for the rest of your life. You can monitor your condition where intestinal symptoms improve and your energy level improving. About 2 - 3 weeks later, you can try testing with fruits, bread, and other grain products to check if the problem still assist. If there is no problems then you can include these foods in different intervals within your daily diet. However, if there is still not better result, then it will be necessary to main a more stringent dietary control by excluding fruits, whole grains, herbs and spices.

One of the most important supplements to be included in your anti-candida detox program is eating probiotics like Lactobacillus acidophilis and Bifidobacteria. These "good" bacteria will actually kill and inhibit yeast growth. Other possible supplements include garlic, oregano oil, and plant tannins.
