Importance of Breaking Lemonade Diet Systematically

I have to emphasize that breaking lemonade diet or the Master Cleanse correctly is critical because many have experience severe stomach discomfort can last for half a day. I would want you to avoid this unnecessary nauseous and stomach churning feeling.

After the Master Cleanse, you can not just jump back to your meat, dairy products, and cooked food. You have to make sure that the transition is gradual back to solid food.

Drink only freshly squeezed orange juice throughout the first and second day after you stop the lemonade diet. That will make up about 8 eight-ounce glasses of orange juice. If you do find the orange juice too thick for your liking, you can add water to the juice. You can have vegetable soup (make sure it is homemade) for dinner during the second night. As much as possible, consume very small amounts of vegetable because we want to avoid introducing solid food too soon. It is better to drink more of the broth rather than eating the vegetables.

By the third day, you will still drink your orange juice in the morning. In the afternoon, you can start on the vegetable broth for lunch. Then for dinner you can try slightly more solid foods like salad, fruits, as well as vegetables.

On your fourth day, you can begin eating your usual diet but I would still recommend going slow. Consume more fruits and vegetables for your lunch and dinner. Keep the breakfast mainly with fruit juices. It has significant positive impact toward your health as I have experienced it. I usually maintain fruit juices or just fruits during my breakfast compared to my usual American breakfast. I believe that this difference has also contributed greatly to me maintaining my weight for the last one year after completing the lemonade diet.

In case, you are a vegetarian, you can start considering only freshly squeezed orange juice for day first three days after stopping the Master Cleanse diet. Only start eating solids on the third day during your dinner. Similarly, introduce the solid food slowly. You can attempt to eat mixture of small amounts of different fruits and raw vegetables.

I strongly encourage that after breaking lemonade diet, continue your meals with fruits and vegetables (raw if possible). Their nutritious value gives you a healthier diet and has greater synergistic effect after a Master Cleanse.

Just a reminder, even if you are intending to consider eating raw vegetables and fruits (even a small amount) right after stopping the program, it can still result in nausea. Some people might even vomit due to this is nauseating feeling. Therefore, breaking lemonade diet has to be disciplined. So try to maintain our recommendation above to prevent these problems.
