Acid Alkaline Cleanse

Why should we embark in an acid alkaline cleanse? It is very common that most people are actually overacidic and needs more alkalinity in their body. This is based on the types of food that we consume nowadays. Furthermore, many cancer patients are also experiencing higher acidity and so the ability to balance the acid and alkaline within our body is crucial in healing and preventing cancer as well as other degenerative diseases from advancing.


Detox Diet Plan for Acid Alkalinity Balancing Cleanse:

Breakfast

  • Fresh vegetable juice
  • Herbal tea or green tea

    Choose from any of the following:

  • Cream of brown rice cereal or quinoa with almond milk or rice milk
  • Toasted rice bread with soy cheese
  • Tofu scrambled with onions, mushrooms, green pepper and soy cheese

    Mid morning snack

  • Fresh vegetable juice

    Lunch
    Choose from one of the menus:

  • Vegan split pea soup and green salad
  • Hummus sandwich with broccoli and grated zucchini on rice bread
  • Garden burger on rice flour buns
  • Vegan chef salad with beans and grains

    Afternoon Snack

  • Fresh vegetable juice, homemade cranberry juice or lemonade

    Dinner

  • Vegetable soup
  • Garden salad

    Choose from one of the menus:

  • Stir-fry tofu over quinoa with brown rice
  • Steamed vegetables with brown rice and melted soy cheese
  • Vegan Caesar salad with pine nuts or sunflower seeds
  • Rice tabbouleh

    Before bedtime

  • Herbal tea


    It is important to supplement yourself with vitamin C when undergoing this detox program. It helps to restore alkalinity. Please ensure that you are consuming buffered vitamin known as ascorbate acid which are combined with other alkaline minerals.

    Other supplements that are important are the electrolytes like calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium which helps to normalize our pH balance. These are highly present in vegetables and vegetable juices.
